Erica Arvold, CSA has been casting for over 20 years, and has contributed to the casting of over 90 films and 75 television projects, including several corporate videos and a VA Lottery super bowl commercial. She is currently casting WISH YOU WELL, a feature film written by novelist David Baldacci produced by Sara Elizabeth Timmins. Erica served as Virginia Casting Director (w/Anne Chapman) for DreamWorks’ LINCOLN, cast the indie feature LAKE EFFECTS, produced and cast the recently released feature HOUSE HUNTING and has several projects in development. Erica most recently produced and cast the pilot RALPH’S WORLD: TIME MACHINE GUITAR for Grammy Nominee Ralph Covert. .

Anne Chapman, casting director

Anne Chapman has worked in casting or as a talent agent for over 25 years. She serves as Casting Director for the VCUarts Cinema Department, casting 35 short films there since 2008. The first feature she collaborated on was CHILDSPLAY, the original “CHUCKY” movie and has recently completed work as Virginia Casting Director (w/ Erica Arvold) for Spielberg’s LINCOLN. She has contributed to the casting of many films including, PUNCHLINE, THREE MEN AND A BABY, THE MOSQUITO COAST, MONKEY SHINES, UNCLE BUCK, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY and IN THE COMPANY OF DARKNESS. As an agent at the Geddes Agency in Chicago she represented: John C. Reilly, John Cusack, Jeremy Piven, Hope Davis, Lili Taylor, Joel Murray, Dennis Farina, Chris Farley, Jason Weaver, Ian Gomez, David Koechner, Chelcie Ross, and Anna Chlumsky as well as others.
Living and working in Richmond, Virginia since 1998, Anne has cast numerous award winning shorts and features including, Lucas Krosts’ FEELS LIKE DROWNING (Cannes), Pierre-William Glenn’s THE SAD AND LONELY DEATH OF EDGAR ALLAN POE (French Film Festival) and Megan Holley’s SQUASHING TICKS (“audience award” winner at the Virginia Independent Film Festival). Anne has specialized in historical documentaries and is often called upon to find photo doubles for historical figures. For PIONEERS TURNED MILLIONAIRES a five-part German Public Television documentary Anne cast actors to portray H.J. Heinz, Levi Strauss, Henry Steinway, J. J. Astor and William Boeing. Anne loves finding new talent and feels nothing is more satisfying than watching an actor’s career take-off. Additionally, Anne has served on the Board of The Virginia Production Alliance for 7 years including 2 years as President.
Michelle Kelly, casting associate
Michelle served as the Casting Associate for the feature films House Hunting (Charlottesville, March 2010) and Lake Effects (Smith Mountain Lake, October 2010) and the short film The Projectionist (Richmond, August 2010).
Michelle’s business degree and screenwriting experience give her a unique casting perspective. She was a Finalist in the 2010 Virginia Screenwriting Competition for her script Idiots at Heart.
Andrea Gaines, casting assistant
A lifelong resident of Virginia, Andrea brings more than 15 years of broadcast television and radio experience to Erica Arvold Casting. Andrea specializes in media relations and volunteer management, and enjoys building creative partnerships guided through cooperation and collaboration.
She has worked as a Television News Producer for ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates, and has specialized in serving as an Executive Producer for programming that promotes issues of diversity and community service.
Andrea has a diverse educational background that combines her enthusiasm for history, journalism, and public policy, earning a B.A. in African & African American Studies from the University of Virginia, a M.A. in Mass Communications and Journalism from Norfolk State University, and is in the process of completing a M.A. in Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness at Virginia Commonwealth University’s L. Douglas Wilder School of School of Government and Public Affairs.
